Description:
Jasper is a happy, good natured bundle of energy who always has a smile on his face and has his tail wagging. He can be timid at first but will lick you rapid fire, over and over again to show you just how sweet he is. He plays extremely well with other dogs and would really enjoy a playmate who also has lots of energy to burn. He can play very rough when appropriate, but also seems to know when to tone it down with older dogs.  He loves stuffed toys and runs round and round the yard with them (BTW, he is really fast). Sometimes he reminds me of an awkward teenage boy who hasn't quite grown into his lanky body. He is always on the move, rarely stopping for long but still interested in attention and treats. He is more of a grazer of food, but is highly interested in people food of any type. He is crate trained.  He is a sock thief and often steals things from inside the house and then runs out the doggie door to play with them in the backyard. Not a big barker, but will sound an alarm if the other dogs are up in arms. He is fine with kids, but prefers my 11 year old son to my 8 year old son. Prefers females to males. Likes to be brushed and bathed, go figure:-) All around he is a lot of fun to watch and get kisses from! Almost forgot, he needs to be on a strict routine for potty, and still goes out pretty often. Needs more leash work too. He is also a little funny about going in and out of doors. I usually just keep walking and let he come and go at his own pace. He always follows.

Jasper would be a wonderful addition to any busy family.
