Description: Bentley came from an Alabama shelter. He was a cruelty case...he got into a dogfight and his owner did not take him to the vet. The shelter stepped in and he was seen by a vet and the owner was prosecuted. We now have him and he has been fully vetted. Because of the fight he had to have a bottom canine tooth removed. He also will probably have a permanent limp. He gets around fine and is a very loving dog.
Bentley would be best in home with no children. He can be somewhat dominating with other females until he gets to know them. I would not let him go to a home with other male dogs.
He is not housebroken yet. He would need someone willing to work with him on this. He is crate trained so housebreaking shoud go fast.
Anyone out there have room in their heart for a mistreated boy who just wants to cuddle?
Bentley is a little overweight and really needs to visit Jenny Criag. He loves to eat and has never met a food he didn't love. He would be an awesome dog for an older couple or someone single with no kids. He would probably be ok with older kids but not smaller ones.
